Meet Bryce

We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Howdy! I'm Bryce. I came to DDR as my owner couldn't keep me anymore. I have a lot of separation anxiety and don't like not being with my people or another dog, I really need another dog in the home to play with and snuggle with. My temporary foster mom said "Bryce just spent a week with me and he is absolutely a sweet boy and a very good snuggle buddy!!"I do require a fenced yard as I have no recall training yet and I will do anything I can to try to go with my person. Can you be my furever home? I am 1 year old, I weigh 11.4 pounds, my adoption fee is $600 plus sales tax $18=$618   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, retained baby canine extraction and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
