Meet Darwin

Meet Darwin, the sweetest 5-6-year-old Lab mix with a heart full of love for all humans! This affectionate boy is playful, loyal, and will keep you entertained for hours with his love for balls, toys, bones, and stuffed animals. Darwin is happiest when he’s outside, enjoying the fresh air. He’s great on a leash, and off-leash, he rarely strays far and comes back when called.   While he adores being close to his humans (your lap is his favorite spot!), Darwin is also happy to settle into his crate, dog bed, or the couch when it’s time to rest. He’s incredibly treat-motivated, making him a quick learner. Darwin already knows commands like “sit,” “lay down,” and “shake,” and he’s eager to learn more.   Darwin is house-trained and crate-trained, though he might bark a little at first when crated. He loves going for walks and is a polite leash walker. He gets along well with other dogs but is still learning to respect personal space, so his playful energy might annoy calmer pups. He would do best in a home without cats, as he doesn’t quite understand that not everyone wants to play as much as he does.   Gentle, loving, and full of joy, Darwin would make an amazing family dog, bringing endless love and laughter to his forever home.   Adoption fee of $275 includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, neuter surgery, veterinary exam
