Meet King

3 words that would describe me: Malleable, Energetic, Loving.  I’m basically your quid essential pittie. I love my toys and my people. Each day I get better and better at being able to calm down when I'm excited. I’m still working on jumping, but I really only do that when extremely excited. My foster parents say I jump less than when my foster brother was my age. I've learned that I get treats when I sit and not when I jump. Because of my jumping, I'm probably not the best candidate for a forever family with small kids, but older and bigger ones should be fine!  I am eager and quick to learn. My current fosters say I'm the smartest dog in the house! I love my toys, and when I'm not chewing them up or playing, I'm usually sleeping on the couch. I would do great as an only dog or with another dog that can guide me and match my energy. I’m not the best walker, as I get really excited when I see other dogs, but if there are no other dogs, I’m great! I just want to play, can you blame me? My foster parents have been walking/running with me at least once a day and I’ve gotten way better at it.  Like any dog, being able to help me burn off some energy will help me the most. I'm ready for my forever home and to find someone who’s dedicated to me. I’m just a pup who's had a rough start and am just looking for someone who will love me, as much as I love them.    King is from a local impound If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
