My name is Nyla and I am a beautiful Frenchie gal, I am a super sweet girl who has loved all the people that I have met so far! Although my foster mom did say that she thinks I would be best in a home with older children. Every since I have come into rescue I have been learning new things everyday and becoming more and more of a good girl! I am crate trained and am quiet as a mouse when in it. I have a foster sibling at home right now and we love to play together although sometimes I get super caught up in it and need to be reminded that I need to be gentel and not so aggressive. My foster mom and I have been working on redirecting me when I get overstimulated and although I am making progress, right now might not be the best time for me to have a full time canine companion.  Cats however.... Love them and I love to play with them! I had some skin issues that we were able to get cleared up since being on a nice diet and medicated baths and got the all clear from the vet this week! I sure will miss getting those bubble baths so often nothing like a nice soak in the tub after a long day of cold weather and playing with toys. I am not a huge fan of the cold or snow  so I make my walks and potty breaks as quick as possible! I do enjoy my vest and look so stylish in it! I am working hard on potty training and always pee outside but still use a potty pad for number 2 sometimes. In the short time that I have been with my foster mom I have learned a lot of new tricks! I can sit,wait, Lie down, and shake! Pretty impressive if I do say so myself!  So if you are looking to add a beautiful, smart, spunky, fun loving girl to your home I might just be her! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
