Say hello to Elmer, a little ball of fluff and cuteness who's destined to grow to be a big teddy bear! At just 11 pounds and two months old, Elmer is already showing the world that he's got a big heart, a curious mind, and a knack for making everyone he meets fall in love with him.Elmer is an expert at puppyhood with his days being a perfect blend of naps, food, playtime, and more naps. His favorite pastimes include playing tug-a-way, climbing over anything and everything (including the 65-pound Shepherd in his foster home), hanging out with his humans, and of course, snuggling. Elmer has no concept of personal space; if you're on the couch, he's right there too, probably on top of you.He is great with other dogs and always appreciates a proper introduction if possible as he can be a little shy at first. He's met some school-aged kiddos and gets along great with them, and when it comes to cats, Elmer's got a "live and let live" attitude. He doesn't bother them, and they don't bother him.House training? Elmer's working on it and almost has got it down but might still have a few oopsies here and there. He's also got a thing for shoes - particularly the chewing on them part - but that's just part of his charm and well, being a puppy! Elmer isn't one to be shy around new people; he's all about those pets and belly rubs and loves making new friends. If you're looking for an adorable, sweet-natured, goofy puppy who will grow (very quickly) into your best buddy, look no further - Elmer's the one!To apply for a dog from All Dog Rescue, please fill out our online application at: alldogmn.org/Adopt.html All Dog Rescue adopts out to homes within 60-miles of the Twin Cities.
