Meet Laney, A Clever Little Firecracker! Hi, I’m Laney, a spunky mixed-breed puppy who’s ready to steal your heart—and maybe your socks, too! I’m at that adorable stage where I’m just starting to lose my puppy teeth, so I’m full of playful energy and a little bit of chewiness (teething toys are my jam!). I’m a wicked smart girl who loves showing off my tricks—I can sit, lie down, shake, and even play dead like a pro. We’re working on recall and my super-cute “chin” command (that’s where I rest my head in your hand—irresistible, right?). Leash manners are a work in progress, but I pick things up so fast, I’ll be strutting like a champ in no time. Speaking of fast, I learn everything quick as a whip—keep me busy, and I’ll keep you amazed! I’m a social pup who gets along great with other dogs and even cats (yep, I’m feline-friendly!). I adore kids, too, though I can get a little bossy sometimes with my sassy dominant streak, so supervision with little ones is a good idea. I ride like a dream in the car, I’m almost fully house- and crate-trained, and I sleep through the night (most nights—puppies gotta puppy, you know!). My perfect home? One with patient, fun-loving people who’ll keep up with my smarts and energy. A family that’s ready for a loyal sidekick with a big personality—and maybe a few extra chew toys to spare. In return, I’ll give you endless entertainment, puppy cuddles, and a best friend who’s always up for an adventure. Ready to meet your new star pupil? Come say hi to me, Laney! Adoption Process
Marshmallow Animal Shelter wants to make certain that every animal adopted goes to a loving home where it will be well cared. Because of this, our application asks a number of detailed questions, which are necessary for our screening process. Our application will ask you to what lengths you are willing to go, in order to accommodate the animal's needs and training. You must be able to show commitment of time, finances, energy and compassion to the animal.
Once your application is approved, we require that you sign a contract guaranteeing non-transferal/sale of animal, its proper care, and spay/neuter surgery if not already done.
