Across America Boxer Rescue

Our Rescue is an all volunteer effort to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned Boxer dogs. When Boxers are in need, Across America Boxer Rescue's dedicated volunteers respond. Our mission includes hands-on rescue, as well as education. Our rescue is dedicated in helping as many Boxers that have had a very "ruff" start for whatever reason. All Boxers that come into our rescue will be examined by our vet, brought up to date on vaccines, heart worm tested, (placed on heart worm preventive medication) and fecal tested, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We will evaluate each Boxer's personality and temperament, so they can be placed in the best home suited for them.

Meet Baila

Baila was surrendered to a North Carolina shelter when her family was displaced from their home.  She is young, petite and ADORABLE!  Baila is good with other dogs and good with children. We don't know how she would do with cats. She LOVES toys and does have some resource guarding with them but her foster mom and dad are working on that.  We are working on getting her in to be spayed but she is otherwise all vetted.12/31 UPDATE:  Baila was spayed yesterday and did great with surgery. She is doing great in her foster home and is ready to find her forever family. Bella has A LOT of energy and will need a structured home and some continued training with manners.

Adoption Process
Adoption application, 3 personal reference checks, vet reference check, home visit, adoption contract, spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, medical care, hw preventive, hw treatment, and any other medical needs.
