_________ B I O ______________  Name: Larimar Size: (Once fully grown) ~Large range: 61-100 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Intact male, Vaccinations current, Microchip  Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:  8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.  ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice. Larimar is a treasure of love and playfulness   Foster Home Feedback  1/9/25 Foster Feedback: Larimar is the most loving, playful, snuggly puppy! He loves to curl up on a blanket next to you and take a good nap but also LOVES to zoom around and play with a variety of toys. He is comfortable with our two bigger dogs and our cat and will often play with them. Larimar is still just a little guy, so potty training has only just begun. He sleeps in a kennel at night (with one of his siblings at this time).  2/17/25 Foster Home Feedback: Meet Larimar, a bundle of curiosity and joy! This playful puppy is a dream to have around. He's well-behaved and sticks to playing with his toys, so no worries about him getting into trouble in the house yet. Larimar has a special bond with our big dog, learning from him and following his lead like a pro.   Potty training is going great—he's on a schedule, and as long as we stick to it, accidents are rare. He's even starting to let us know when it's time to go out by whining or sitting by the door. Nighttime is a breeze with Larimar, as he sleeps soundly in his kennel and only wakes up if he needs a potty break,   One of Larimar's most endearing qualities is his love for cuddle time. He thrives on being close to his people and is always ready to shower you with affection.
