Hi there, I'm GinnyLou! I'm new to the rescue and still getting settled in, but my foster family says I'm already making a great impression. I'm a quiet, peaceful girl who loves the simple things in life - give me a cozy blanket to sit on and a marrow bone to chew, and I'm one happy pup as you can see here! My foster family tells me I'm very pretty (blush!) and they're especially impressed with how patient I am. I'm just happy to sit & relax and soak up the calm around me - like I am doing in this video! I had an amazing night, sleeping peacefully in bed with the 16-year-old. No potty accidents, no chewing—just pure perfection. I’m incredibly quiet and well-mannered. They took me to a craft event, and I behaved wonderfully. In fact, someone even asked if I was a therapy dog because I was so calm and patient. At Fleet Farm, I walked patiently down the aisles, wagging my tail as people stopped to ask about me. I sat gently while kids petted me, radiating my kind and beautiful soul. I truly feel like I would thrive in a family with other pets, finding comfort and safety in being close to my humans. When kenneled, I remain quiet and content. I’m a big fan of bacon-flavored treats and prefer the itty-bitty Milk Bones as my snacks. My foster family will continue to share more about me as we get to know each other better. So far, I’ve been around cats and simply walked by them—no sign of a prey drive, which is promising. If I do say so myself, I’m truly something special! GinnyLou is from a local reservation. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
