Meet Cornbread
Cornbread is a one-year-old, 70-pound Lab-Sharpei mix with a unique combination of charm and character. His Labrador side likely gives him a friendly, outgoing nature, while his Sharpei heritage may add a touch of independence and loyalty. At a year old, Cornbread is still full of youthful energy and would thrive in a home that provides regular exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. He will need a six foot fence as he likes to go on adventures! His size and breed mix make him an excellent candidate for active families or individuals who enjoy outdoor adventures. He is great on a leash and in a car. He loves other dogs but has not been tested with cats. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. If interested in meeting this baby, you can find an online adoption application at https://fjcasp.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application/ Adoption fees vary and cover spay/neuter, vaccinations, wormers and preventatives.
