Meet Dixon

  Dixon is a 5 year old, 30 pound beagle who was abandoned at a local shelter. Dixon loves all dogs and cats and would be good with kids. He does require a secure fence as he loves to roam and sniff. Dixon is low heartworm positive and his monthly treatment will be provided. He would love an outdoors type family and a comfy couch to chill on. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. All of our animals have been heart worm tested and are on monthly preventions. You can help save a life by fostering an animal from FJCASP. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
