This tall, handsome, affectionate fellow with dreamy amber eyes is a 6-month-old, 25-lb. Shepherd-Heeler mix. Creek loves people and dogs (has not been tested with cats or children under pre-teen age). He is smart, curious, and very treat-motivated; with that combo, the sky is the limit on what he can learn. He learned to sit in just one day, and is making good progress on potty-training despite being hampered by a foster mom who hasn't quite caught on to his routine yet. An active person/family who can give him the time and attention to be all he can be--and another dog to play with--would be his ideal home.  Approximate Birthdate:  May 2024 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Adoption Process
Those interested in adopting must fill out an online application, we then schedule an initial meeting with them and the animal, followed by a home visit. An adoption contract is required and the adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
