The Animal Rescue Alliance

A non-profit 501C3, all volunteer group dedicated to helping homeless pets in the Greater Kansas City area. Our organization is the result of an alliance between several rescuers in the Kansas City region who share the same goal of ending animal suffering and homelessness.In addition to rescuing pets from difficult situations, we offer courtesy listings in Pet Finder, facilitate low-cost spays and neuterings, work on transfers and transports with existing rescue groups, help individuals and organizations promote, screen and educate potential adopters, fund raise to help pets with special needs, offer guidance and information about animal rescue, organize events, etc.

Meet Pacheco *CL

Pacheco is a Border Collie/Lab mix. He is almost 14 months old and weighs 67lb. He is housetrained, up to date on vaccinations and has a healthy report from his recent vet visit. He enjoys playing with other dogs that match his level of excitement. Upon initial excitement at meeting, he settles into appropriate interactions though he has not been around many small dogs. Pacheco loves everyone and has been loved since day one! His humans have been faced with long workdays away from home and that makes him sad and lonely. He would love to be part of a family that has a better balance of work and play. Pacheco also needs a family who has experience with his breed and enjoys all those characteristics of a working dog. He's a very busy minded puppy who needs training to match his intelligence and eagerness for all of life’s adventures!     The animal listed on this page was listed as a courtesy to help find the animal a home. Adoption Process
Those interested in adopting must fill out an online application, we then schedule an initial meeting with them and the animal, followed by a home visit. An adoption contract is required and the adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
