The Animal Rescue Alliance

A non-profit 501C3, all volunteer group dedicated to helping homeless pets in the Greater Kansas City area. Our organization is the result of an alliance between several rescuers in the Kansas City region who share the same goal of ending animal suffering and homelessness.In addition to rescuing pets from difficult situations, we offer courtesy listings in Pet Finder, facilitate low-cost spays and neuterings, work on transfers and transports with existing rescue groups, help individuals and organizations promote, screen and educate potential adopters, fund raise to help pets with special needs, offer guidance and information about animal rescue, organize events, etc.

Daisie is as beautiful as she is sweet. She is more focused on humans than other dogs, but she can get along with some other dogs with a proper introduction.  She would be happy as the only dog in a home, cuddling on the couch or laying at your feet in the kitchen. She loves loves loves toys and sunning herself on the porch or in the yard. Daisie is very smart, house and kennel trained. She does great on car rides. If you have it in your heart to love this pretty girl, she will most certainly love you back.   Approximate Birthdate:  Oct 2023 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Adoption Process
Those interested in adopting must fill out an online application, we then schedule an initial meeting with them and the animal, followed by a home visit. An adoption contract is required and the adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
