Meet Poptart, the Energetic Adventurer! Poptart, formerly known as Rucker, is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who came to PAC through a `longtimer swap` from another shelter. This awesome program gives long-stay residents a fresh start and a new audience to help them find their forever homes. Poptart was their long-timer, and now heâs ready to win your heart!This high-energy dude is super solid with other dogs and, while he might push around other males a bit, heâs never confrontational. Heâs strong on a leash but improving every day, and his kennel manners are a work in progress at PAC. Poptart is a bundle of energy who calms down after some outdoor playtime. He gets very excited when he sees people and tends to jump up paws first, so heâs not suited for homes with small kids.Poptart is VERY treat-motivated and knows how to sit, though he needs a bit of work on taking treats nicely because heâs just so excited for food! He can be a bit stubborn outside and easily distracted, but he loves squeaky toys, which catch his attention.Poptart would love to find an active family who can keep up with his energy and give him the love and attention he deserves.
