We show our dogs by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting Kendry please fill out our dog adoption application at kcpaws.org link to application: https://form.jotform.com/230296113596155 Adoption fee: $300 Kendry is a 4-5 month old Alaskan Malamute/Anatolian Shepherd Mix. She will likely reach 100-130 lbs as an adult. She is in a foster home currently, please read biography to learn what her foster mom has to say about her! From Foster: "Kendry is by far my favorite foster puppy I have ever had... and I have fostered a lot haha. She has done AMAZINGLY at potty training and has been an absolute joy. In my home I have dogs and cats of all sizes from small to XL. She gets along with everyone and especially loves to play with my male Shepherd mix. They wrestle non stop until they both pass out. I rarely have to kennel her anymore because she does not have accidents in my home now that she is used to the routine, however if she is going to be alone for a while I do kennel her because she is teething and will chew on anything available right now. But that's just her being a puppy! She does fine in her kennel and didn't cry after the first night. However lately she has been sleeping with me and my other dogs in my room. She likes to sleep on the wood floor or the leather couch because she is very fluffy and gets hot.  She is EXCELLENT with my two young kids, one is 3 and I also have a one year old. She couldn't be better with them and is very gentle. She does not jump on them but she does love to give them kisses and likes to sit next to them in the car.  She is extremely dog social and hasn't met a dog she doesn't want to be friends with. I really think she would be happiest in a home with another dog. She also does great with my cats, she mostly just leaves them be.  She is still working on leash skills as she was a bit scared of the leash at first but she is getting much better! She already knows sit, down, and has been learning heel.  She NEEDS a home with a yard. She loves to be outside and sunbathe and likes to go out frequently. She especially loves to play in the snow! She lets me know when she needs to go out and barks at the door when she is ready to come in. Keep in mind she is going to be a very big dog. So she likely will not be a good fit for an apartment.  Kendry is the sweetest love bug and is so incredibly smart. I would love for her to go to an active family who will spend a lot of time exploring the outdoors with her and taking her on all of their adventures. She is truly a gem and deserves to be a cherished member of the family."
