Dixie is a sweet girl who wants to find her forever person! She loves toys and loves to play! While she likes most other dogs she prefers to be with her people. She has also met cats and seemed to be ok with them. Dixie has had a bit of a rough start in life but she doesn't let that get her down. This beautiful girl is missing an eye but it doesn't bother her at all and she will still find whatever toy you throw for her! She can get unnerved when you come up on her blind side though so she would not be suited to a home with small children. Apply to meet this cutie today! Approximate Birthdate: March 2021 Adoption Fee: $175 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds. For more information please fill out an application. Adoption Process
Those interested in adopting must fill out an online application, we then schedule an initial meeting with them and the animal, followed by a home visit. An adoption contract is required and the adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
