Liberty is a very petite, sweet girl who was held in doggie jail at Macon City Animal Shelter after being caught as a stray on Ausust 8, 2024. She had been a favorite of the ACO. Liberty is a quiet girl and loves attention once she is over her initial shyness. She is currently with a foster and their 3 dogs; she gets along fine with the dogs, prefers for now to stay off to hersel, but she is just now adjusting to being out of the shelter (released 10/2/24).Liberty is house broken, has great recall when outside, loves to run to the pond, but has yet to figure out the swimming part, but she does like to wade in the water. She is fearful of loud sudden noises, so her foster is working on building her confidence. She is eagerly working on leash training. Liberty loves children and seems to soak up all of the attention she can get from them.Foster updates will be given as time goes on. She is scheduled for her spay and microchipping on October 10. Once recovered from her spay procedure, she will be available for adoption. Stay tuned for more updates on this sweet, sweet girl.
