Meet Dieter
Dieter is a gorgeous, smart boy who loves to explore and snuggle with his people. He would do great in an active home with dog friends to play with. He will be a loyal, loving companion for a lucky family. Meet Dieter, this sweet and adventurous 4-month-old puppy is looking for his forever home! We were told his mom is an Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix, but we see more of a Lab/Shepherd mix in Dieter’s adorable face. What we know for sure is that he’s a loving, smart, and eager-to-please pup. Dieter is doing great with potty training, crate training, and leash training. He’s a quick learner and thrives on treats and praise, showing off just how intelligent he really is! Though he’s a little shy when meeting new people, it only takes a few treats and some patience to see his affectionate side. Once he’s comfortable, Dieter is all love and cuddles. Dieter would do best in a home with another dog and a fenced yard where he can run, explore, and safely burn off his puppy energy. His curious nature makes him love new adventures, and a big yard will give him the space he craves. Dieter is a really good boy and will make a loyal, loving companion for a very lucky family. If you’d like to meet him, apply on our website today at luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application. He’s ready to bring endless joy and companionship to his new forever home!
Adoption Process
All adoptions require a completed application. No Exceptions!
We only adopt to families within 1 hour (60 miles) of St. Louis/St. Charles areas to make transportation feasible for our fosters and volunteers.
We do not offer same day adoptions from our fosters or at adoption events. All pets must be properly vetted (vaccinated, altered and chipped) and home visits must be done before any pet can be adopted
Adoption donations are NON-REFUNDABLE, and tendered as a taxable donation to Lucky Chance Rescue
Once you submit your application, it will be sent to the foster coordinator and foster. Please give us at least 48 hours to review your application. Someone will contact you to let you know if the dog or cat is available and get to know you a little better. We are all volunteers, so please be patient while we complete the application process.
Upon approval of your application, a home visit and meet & greet will be scheduled.
If you and the foster/foster coordinator agree to move forward with the adoption, the foster will go through the adoption contract, teach you about blending your new pet with your family and other pets, give you training tips and other helpful information.
Tax Deductible Donation is $300 for dogs & puppies and $125 for cats & kittens.
Your adoption donation is tax deductible and helps cover all costs associated with rescuing animals including vaccinations, medical treatments, emergency medical care, food, shelter, puppy pads, pens/crates, transportation, toys, leashes, harnesses, collars, tags, bowls, bedding, litter boxes, litter, grooming items, and any other basic care needs.
Payment must be made in full by check, cash or online via our website at time of adoption. We do give you a two week trial period to give you time to completely fall in love with your new pet, or return the pet if you not be able to keep him/her for any reason. After the two week trial period has ended, and you have made the commitment keep your new pet, Lucky Chance Rescue will send you all vet records and microchip information.
