I am as beautiful as a mermaid. I love being loved, I am still somewhat skittish. I am a recent breeder release girl just beginning her journey to become a pet in a home setting. Working hard on house training and home manners. I do not walk on a harness and leash so a fenced yard is a must for me. I don't understand boundaries, I can be hard to catch sometimes, I don't understand roads, cars and other things that could be dangerous. Can you be my furever home, give me patience and love to help me become a house pet? I am 5 yrs old, I weigh 23 pounds, my adoption fee is $325 plus sales tax $14.63 = $339.63

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
