Meet Josie

At one year of age, Josie has matured into a fun and independent, medium-sized, mixed breed dog. Her markings remind us of a shepherd, but her legs and body length are more like a basset hound. Josie’s months as a puppy had some rough patches behaviorally, but she started to turn the corner after landing in foster care with a professional dog trainer. She is funny, playful, outgoing and knows several commands. Josie loves to run laps in the yard, is reliable with her house training, walks well on a leash and willingly sleeps in her kennel most nights. Josie likes other dogs, but we’re still recommending her as an only pet, preferably with no small children. She loves to chew on Nyla bones and needs a home that will provide structure and consistency. Suggested adoption donation: $300.  Adoption form available at nebraskanokill.org  

Adoption Process
Dogs under 7 years $250.00 Senior dogs: $150.00 All dogs are spayed/neutered; up to date on shots and microchipped. Also heart worm tested.
