Meet Olaf nka Bailey

"Hi, I’m Olaf, named after Olaf, the snowman! My sister is Elsa and we both really like this cold weather. Playing outside in the winter with our family is so fun (especially in snow). So our names are appropriate. I'm 14 weeks old. My foster parents tell me I’m the sweetest puppy they’ve ever had. I like to run zoomies and play tug with my foster siblings. Sometimes they chase me or I chase them. I really like that. And I love toys. I will get every single toy out of the bin if you let me. I’m cool with cats, too (I mean, I'm just a puppy, sometimes I bark at them, but I don't chase them). I’m working hard on potty and kennel training and I almost know how to sit on command. I’m very food motivated and like to learn. My foster family tells me I’ve got the best personality as I’m really affectionate too. I like to be with my people but am ok playing by myself too. I really, really love people. Doesn’t matter which people, as long as they’ll snuggle with me and hold me. I have the softest fur, which means everyone wants to pet me. And I like that! I’m looking for a family that will continue to help me learn how to be a good boy. Like any of our dogs, this adorable puppy would make a great addition to an active home that will provide the love, structure, good leadership, activity and mental stimulation that his breed needs. Because of that, Olaf's ideal owner will have prior Aussie, GSD or other herding breed experience. Even if you exercise and play with your dog daily in your fenced yard, please remember that you MUST still take your dog out on daily walks and outings, in order to provide sufficient stimulation, ward off boredom, and work on leash skills, and manners. Olaf's adoption fee is $450, all of which goes back into offsetting our high-cost vetting expenses and rescuing more dogs.  We are a 100% volunteer-run rescue group and rely on adoption fees and donations to continue saving lives. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal, deworming, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, heartworm tested if old enough (and treated if positive), and microchipped. Adoption Process
Application process includes 3 unrelated personal references, a vet check, and a home visit. Applicants are matched up to a dog that matches their living situation and skill level. Adoption contract is signed after successful meet and greet. Adoption fees range from $250-450 depending on the dog's age.
