Meet Athena, a stunning 5-year-old pit bull mix with a sleek black coat and a few adorable white spots. Athena is a sweet and loving dog who thrives on forming close bonds with her humans. While she can be a bit nervous around new people at first, don't let that fool you—she warms up quickly once she feels safe and comfortable. Athena is playful, affectionate, and loves nothing more than some quality one-on-one time with her favorite people. She's a ball of energy when it comes to playtime! Whether it's chasing after her beloved ball or engaging in a game of tug of war, Athena is always up for fun. When she's not playing, she's a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up next to her humans. What Athena Needs: • A Calm, Patient Home: Athena may take a little time to warm up to new people, so she'd do best in a home with experienced dog owners who can give her the space and patience to adjust. Once she feels comfortable, her true loving personality shines through. • No Young Children: Athena isn't the best fit for homes with young children, as she prefers a quieter environment and may be overwhelmed by the fast movements and noise of little ones.
