Meet Izzy

Meet Izzy! Izzy is a sweet 50lb, spayed 1.5-year-old Alaskan Husky with a heart of gold. She loves hanging out with other dogs, is playful, affectionate, and so ready for her forever home. Izzy is well-behaved for her caretaker and even goes back into her kennel on her own. Izzy's journey began at the Merced County Animal Shelter, where she spent 2.5 months before arriving at WARF. Her friendly and social nature made her a favorite among the shelter staff, who often relied on her to behavior test other dogs due to her friendly consistent demeanor. Despite being a husky, Izzy has medium energy levels, making her one of the calmer ones of her breed. She adores every person and dog she meets and is even cat-friendly! She is believed to be house-trained. Izzy is ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever home! If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org and text 801-641-7752.
