Hi there! I'm Poco, your new buddy! Woof! I'm a 3-year-old Chihuahua Dachshund mix, full of energy and love! I'm happiest when I'm with people because being alone makes me a bit anxious and a bit barky. I get along great with some doggos, and I especially prefer small female dogs. I’d enjoy being the center of attention as your one and only or having a compatible dog friend.   My friends say I've got this perfect mix of cuteness and judgy eyes. When I give you that look, you'll know exactly what I mean! Apartment life isn't really my thing because I tend to express myself vocally when left alone. But put me in a car and I'm ready for an adventure! I adore car rides almost as much as belly rubs! When it's time for a walk, I'm a champ on the leash. Let's go explore together! Can't wait to meet you and share lots of cuddles and playtime!

Adoption Process
Fees are: Puppies 0 - 6 months $495 Puppies 6 - 12 months $450 Adult dogs $395 Senior dogs 8 years and over $195 Adult cats $150 Kittens $195 or $250 for a pair Senior cats 8 years and over $95 Our adoption application is found and submitted through our website derryhumanesociety.com Once an application is submitted, it will be sent to an adoption counselor who will reach out to you if you may be a good match.
