Name Spice FemaleColor tan with white paws and a white heart on her forehead Breed chihuahua mix Age 1 year Dob 10-21-2024 Weight 16.30Street SaveSpayed What’s their story Spice found herself at The Quarry mall in a field.    We don’t know how she got there but some employees saw her.     They started feeding her but she would never come to anyone.  Months go by and she still isn’t trusting anyone. A wonderful lady who traps dogs was going to trap her once a rescue stepped up Within an hour she was trapped and safe and taken to her foster.  Walks good on a leashWe are working on that Kennel trained yes Good with dogs yes, she needs another confident dog to help show her the ropes Good with cats yes Good with kids would be better with older kids as can be mouthy if nervous Potty trained  yes Could live in apartment? Yes Jumps it more a gentle crawl up the leg.   Barks no Separation Anxiety no Chews yes Good in the car  still gets nervous so needs to be in a carrier Chase and fetch ball will chase and fetch but won’t bring it back.   Personality sweet girl who needs time to trust her new surroundings Any behavior issues just can be nervous of new things and people Best home would be more on the quitter side home where she has other dogs to help her and humans to be patient and go slow.

1. Apply (must be 21+, have. a vet & employer reference) 2. Phone call with coordinator 3. Zoom interview with Directors 4. In person meet up 5. 1 Week foster to adopt 6. paperwork/contract The adoption fee depends on the animal
