Meet Tyson

Meet Tyson, a resilient 8- or 9-year-old sweetheart with a past that’s tough but far too common in the rescue world. Tyson's story begins in a stifling Georgia summer, where he and several dozen other rescued dogs were housed in an unventilated warehouse. While they had food and water, that was where the care ended. Thankfully, Tyson and his “housemates” have been rescued and are on their way to much brighter futures. Despite everything he’s been through, Tyson has an absolutely cuddly and charming personality. With his worn, nubby teeth, he's ready for cozy evenings on the sofa—whether you're watching late fall baseball or binging Netflix. Tyson is dog and cat social and enjoys relaxing as much as he does the occasional zoomie around the house. Don’t let his age fool you—he still has that playful puppy energy when the moment strikes! Tyson arrives in late September, and he’d love an orthopedic dog bed waiting for him in his new home. Adoption fees are waived for the perfect family, so if you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with a heart of gold, Tyson might just be your man!
