For the Love of Dog rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes rottweilers in the northeastern US. Established in 2004, we have rehomed more than 1200 dogs. For the Love of Dog - Rottweiler Rescue of New Hampshire is a New Hampshire corporation and a registered charity in New Hampshire operating under the federal tax exempt status of 501c3. The organization is also a licensed animal shelter in the state of New Hampshire, a good-standing member of the Mayor's Alliance of New York City and the Animal Rescue Network of New England.

Meet Casper

Casper is a typical 3-year-old Rottweiler originally from North Carolina. Due to a lack of staff, the shelter desperately needed to send Casper here to the Northeast. He is strong, has a big presence, but is such a goofy boy at his core. He is handsome as can be, sits on command, loves treats, and being silly! He can be strong on leash when he sees something he wants to check out, but for the most part he’s quite manageable for a big boy of his size.  He takes treats gently and loves to cuddle! He is social and friendly with other dogs and people. He is house trained. He hasn't been tested with children or cats.  Apply 4theloveofdog.org
