Meet Pebbles

Yabba Dabba Doo…Meet Pebbles! This 3-year old prehistoric velvet hipposaurus is as sweet as Stone Age honey and came to us after her owner could no longer care for her. It’s obvious Pebbles came from a loving home…she is social, well-adjusted, knows soooo many commands, has great experience with dogs, cats, and kids, and is incredibly affectionate. Her prior family, through no fault of their own, had a change in housing, and had to make the difficult decision to put Pebbles’ needs first…a situation we are sadly hearing more and more. But Pebbles had the most extraordinary foundation built with them…in a home filled with love. And now she just needs a forever home and a Bedrock all her own.  Pebbles is AH-MAZING! On every level. With her round pittie head and deep, dark eyes, this beauty queen is striking. And she is a little peanut…weighing in at a compact and dense 44 lbs. She is great in most situations (in the car, at the vet, having her nails trimmed), and has the added bonus of being raised with kids of all ages. She has the patience of a saint and truly loves engaging with the littles, bringing her toys back and gently dropping them for another round of fetch.  This little Flintstone is dainty but more than makes up for her diminutive stature with a larger-than-life personality and a heart full of love. Have a resident Dino or Baby Puss at home? Pebbles is great with all creatures and has lived with multiple cats and dogs. Pebbles is just looking for a Fred and Wilma all her own. Someone to love her forever. Due to a known and successful history with kids, Pebbles would be a great addition to any family! Pebbles’ top 3 priorities: 1. A family who is looking to include an awesomely social pup in all their adventures. 2. A family who will give this amazing little girl all the love she deserves (and a place on the bed).  3. A family who is looking for an amazing little pup who has a LOT of love to give.

Adoption Process
Adoptions Crops and Flops Rescue, Inc. prides ourselves on spending extra time with our thorough adoption process to make sure our pups and their forever families are set up for a lifetime of happiness. Being a foster-home based rescue means we understand our dogs’ personalities in a home setting and what type of environment would set them up for success. We go the extra mile with our adoption process to understand our adopters’ households to make a match made in heaven. While we understand that looks can be important, we focus our efforts on finding a match based on household, lifestyle, and temperament for the best chance of a happily-ever-after. Our dog adoption specialists are invested in our adopters and are volunteering their time to help make a great forever match. Adoption Process Our adoption process consists of the following: • Complete an Application • Reference Checks: Both veterinary and personal references are required • Phone Interview: Typically lasts 20-30 minutes with one of our knowledgeable dog adoption specialists for us to understand our adopters household • Home Visit: Our home checks are conducted both virtually and in person, include verification of home ownership, and usually take around 30 minutes to complete • Dog Meet: Adopters will be guided to meeting a dog that would be a good match – all resident family members are required to be present • Next Steps: Subsequent steps are determined at initial dog meet, especially when you have a resident dog • Adoption: We ask our adopters to wait 24-hours before scheduling an adoption to make sure all family members are committed – if all agree, we schedule the adoption as soon as volunteer schedules will allow Adoption Donations All Crops and Flops Rescue, Inc. dogs come spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines and monthly preventatives, have received fecal testing and 4DX testing for tick-borne illnesses, and are sent home with an extra 2 month supply of heartworm preventatives. Adoption donations are as follows: • Whippersnapper Puppies (up to 11 months) $500 • Adult House Hippos (1 year – 7 years) $400 • Senior Pitizens (8 years+) $300
