PittieLove Rescue, Inc.

PittieLove Rescue Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non profit organization based in MA. We are an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of the American Pit Bull Terrier. PittieLove’s primary goal is to ensure that our rescued dogs will never again suffer from abuse or neglect. We work diligently to carefully place them into loving homes where, for all of their remaining years, they will experience the affection and kindness that has been so sorely absent from their lives.

Meet Tia

Adoption Fee: $550 Our information is current if you are interested in adopting please read our  Adoption Policies before filling out an Adoption Application. https://www.pittieloverescue.org It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process. Introducing Tia! This pint-sized cutie with the most soulful eyes came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control. Tia was found in deplorable body condition eating trash to survive. It appears that this sweet young lady has been bounced around so much in her short life- she was first adopted as an 8 week out of state. How she ended up starved in Boston is anyone’s guess. Rest assured, Tia, you will never know uncertainty or abandonment ever again! Huge thank you to longtime PLR foster and supporter Blair for stepping up in a big way to show this amazing girl safety and security while she heals enough to find her very own forever family to spoil this gem of a dog the way she deserves to be! Despite everything that she has clearly overcome, Tia is a LOVER! Her foster mom describes her simply as sweet, snuggly and playful. Clearly, in true pittie fashion, she holds no grudges against humans for what was so clearly awful treatment in her past. Tia is learning to enjoy the good life, embarking happily on car rides with her mom and four legged foster siblings, all the while ensuring she maintains contact with a paw or nose touching her person the entire ride. She’s becoming the quintessential Velcro dog, keeping her human in eyesight at bare minimum. If she feels like she isn’t getting quite enough attention she will sweetly grab her mom’s hand and gently remind her of her presence   Near the top of Tias wishlist for her forever family (behind love of course) is an equally playful four legged sibling. While she doesn’t quite understand toys yet, she thrives under the guidance of her older foster siblings. If you have a huge heart and are looking to share it with the most amazing little lady, please look no further than miss Tia. This girl deserves the world folks, and we’re gonna ensure she gets it!
