Meet Lizz LOWER FEE
On our adoption application we ask if you have made plans for a dog if you should die. We think it’s one of the most important things we ask. Lizz’s story explains why. An 8–10-year-old, 17-pound Maltese mix, Lizz was left alone when her owner recently died. Lizz, though, is lucky because her foster found her in the kill shelter and brought her into rescue. As with all our dogs, she has been checked by our vet who said that she is blind in her left eye either from trauma or cataract; she’s also been updated with all her shots and had a dental cleaning. Lizz is an old girl, but due to her size, her life should be longer than a larger dog’s. She’s good with other dogs as well as her foster’s cat. However, if you have small children, please look at one of our other dogs. Due to their ages, Lizz and small children may not work well together. (posted 6/10/23, TN) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption Fee/Transport Fee: $250.00 We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.
