Meet Dumbo

Rescued from a hoarder, Dumbo, a Basset Hound mix, is a real sweetheart with a wonderful personality. He's 2 years old, weighs 32 pounds, and came to us with a cherry eye which we promptly removed. Although his previous living conditions may not have been the greatest, and may have led to his shyness, overall, this boy's love of life is undeniable. He loves to run around the play yard either alone or with one of his canine pals, and there's an aura of gentleness that surrounds him. A sweet, sweet boy, he would be great to have in your family. (posted 4/21/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **

Adoption Process
Potential adopters file application, including references; if approved, referred to foster mom/dad with any questions and in order to determine suitability of adopter. Adopters sign contract and pay adoption fee and upon delivery, pay transport fee. Adopters are provided with medical records and required to spay/neuter dog at appropriate age. requirements: adopters must be over 21; spay/neuter dog at 6 months
