Mango Pembroke MA Mango is looking for a grove to call home! Approximately a year old and 45lbs, this young cattle dog mix is medium energy and super sweet. Mango would love a home with moderately active humans where he can get out for some exercise then kick back and relax with some popcorn and movies. He is happy with a walk and playtime in the yard, but would certainly enjoy and be able to handle a more active lifestyle. He's a smart boy and has picked up on things very quickly here! He is very attentive to his people, checking in frequently and showing a great willingness to train and play. Mango has been friendly towards the many dogs he's met here in foster care and enjoys playing with respectful pups. He can get a little overwhelmed when the other dog comes on too strong, though once he gets to know them he does start playing more rough-and-tumble. He shows some interest in cats when they are moving about so may chase them if they run, but should be fine with dog-savvy felines. Overall Mango is a sensitive guy and melts in response to intimidating things like loud voices, quick movements towards him, and hands reaching over his head. He is friendly towards the adults he's met, approaching submissively and soaking up the affection. I anticipate that he would do well with respectful, gentle children. In the home, Mango is housebroken and relaxes quietly and calmly in his crate. Mango is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. He is being fostered in Pembroke MA and needs to meet his potential family prior to adoption to ensure a great match.
