Meet Storm

Meet Storm, an 8-month-old German Wirehaired Pointer. He now weighs 60 pounds but still has some filling in to do as he heads to about 70 pounds when mature. He wears a medium-length tri-colored coat which is soft and a pleasure to stroke. Storm is very sweet and gets along wonderfully with other dogs! He loves playing and carrying around toys, as well as running around in the yard! He is learning to walk on a leash, improving every day! Adopt Storm and let him bring joy into your heart and home! (ME, 11/20/24) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.

Adoption Process
Potential adopters file application, including references; if approved, referred to foster mom/dad with any questions and in order to determine suitability of adopter. Adopters sign contract and pay adoption fee and upon delivery, pay transport fee. Adopters are provided with medical records and required to spay/neuter dog at appropriate age. requirements: adopters must be over 21; spay/neuter dog at 6 months
