Meet GENTLE OLAF
My name is Gentle Olaf and they originally named me Maui at the shelter where I landed. Maui on the paperwork but my foster mom Gwyn calls me a much better name....OLAF! She says I remind her of snow....I wonder how that could be? HA! I am an 87 pound, and a 6-7 year old Great Pyrenees that was found wondering in a small town in rural East Tennessee. No one came looking for me at the shelter and what a shame that was. My house manners tells everyone that I belonged to someone at one time and I am not skittish or shy or emotionally damaged., I am great shape too and somehow I have grown up thinking I am the size of a Shih Tzu and I truly just want to sit on your lap or partway on you while we watch TV on the sofa. I adore people but I really like my foster dad who has a great handlebar moustache that I can really relate to. He really like me right back and we do lots of fun stuff watching TV and taking naps on the sofa. Now... let me be perfectly clear. I love being outside because that is how God mde me to be. I can scale a fence if I get bored and want to go check out the other side of the fenced area. I mean we Great Pyrs are bred to roam the land and be the guardian of our domain. I am the perfect cuddle bug on the sofa, your bed or riding shotgun and almost in your lap in the car. I am the PERFECT Great Pyr. I have NO ISSUES with anything in life and if a dog comes charging up to my face to challenge me? I just walk off and not one hair is out of place on my body and my attitude is still great! I am a LOVER and NOT A FIGHTER. Yes I am big but my foster momma Gwyn says I need to gain some more weight. She is working on that now. I am the perfect friend to everyone and I know that one day someone will take me home and let me take up 2/3 of the sofa while watching a movie or some favorite game on TV? I am house broken and will tell you when I need to go out. I am good with other calm dogs and cats. I am a couch potato and if you have a big enough lap I will sit there too. I like to be outside with you and will keep you within my sight. So, if you are looking for a big fluffy dog that looks like snow and you have a big couch and bed I am the boy for you.
