Meet Juliet and Romeo
Romeo and Juliet are two bonded whippet types who are two very lucky dogs. GFNJ received a call from a volunteer at the Friends of Elizabeth Animal Shelter about two sighthounds who were thrown from a car. They asked us to take them into our care and we immediately agreed. Despite their cruel beginning these dogs are friendly and happy to be in good care. They are a bonded pair, and we'll b adopting them together at this time. They received vaccines and Romeo will be neutered and our veterinarian will determine if Juliet needs to be spayed. The initial veterinarian who gave them vaccines feels that they are about 3 years old. Romeo is 22 pounds and Juliet is 18 pounds, although they are both then and could gain some weight. We will be seeking an adoptive or foster home for the pair. If you may be able to help you can call Linda at 732 356 4370.
