Meet YVONNE

My name is Yvonne and I am a very very sweet little Shih Tzu mix girl that is very young at just a year of age and 25 pounds.  My foster mom says I am a very good girl with a personality that is sweet, gentle and loving.  I love life and everyone that I meet.  I am a happy little girl and I really get along with other dogs and would certainly like to be friends with a cat or two if I needed to be.  My foster mom said that I need to learn how to walk on a leash because my future family will want to take me for walks and show me off.  I am doing pretty well so far and should master the leash stroll if someone will work with me every day.  My foster mom is really a busy woman with lots of foster dogs she is helping. I am also trying to learn my potty break times too and also what being in a crate is like.  I am doing nicely with both but not 100% housebroken yet.  If you put me in a crate I am fine but not for 8 hours.  I have requested a family where someone is home a lot and maybe working from home so that I don’t have to do the crate thing for a long time every day.  Or maybe someone will be an empty nester and can be home a lot or take me places with them on errands and such. My foster mom said a fenced yard with another dog to play with would be the best gift I could get.  That would be a dream come true.  I could make a great sister to another dog and we could play all day happily because I am a nice girl that shares my toys and I am never jealous.  Since I am so smart and loving, I think I would be a great Valentine’s gift to yourself if you choose me.  I learn fast and I will learn to love you to the moon and back in no time at all.  If you are interested please be sure to write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected]     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
