Meet CANDY GIRL
How could anyone just walk in to a shelter and drop off this sweet dog like she was just an old pair of shoes you no longer wanted? Well Candy Girl was the victim of just such a heartless act by her owner. Seems, that she did not do well with the free range chickens and he refused to keep his chickens in a fenced coop areas. Its tempting to chase those feathery creatures and easy to harm them when you catch one. She did what comes naturally for a dog who is wanting to have a little fun. So.... Candy was a discarded, sweet dog that is now ready to go to a new and much more tender-hearted, caring home and family. This girl is young at just a year old and weighs 46 pounds. She is everyone's friend, humans and dogs alike. We can cat test her if you need us to. She loves to play as most young dogs do and she would be fine with a family of children, other existing dog or dogs and what a perfect size she is for having around for family excursions or hiking and walks. She is a girl that will make everyone stop to pet her! What a friend-maker she will be as people to stop and say Hello to Candy Girl! If you are interested please email us at [email protected] She is in Tennessee and can drive northward to a new home as well.
