Meet Beggin Strip
Let us tell you a little story about Beggin Strip and his Mom, Verdi... Once upon a time, a sweet momma pup named Verdi was dropped off at a vet office for surgery, but she was so pregnant she went into labor before they could even begin. The owner didn't want any of the puppies so a person working at the vet office quickly agreed to foster Verdi and her puppies until they were weaned. Verdi gave birth to 7 beautiful puppies. Shortly after their birth, Verdi's owner surrendered her, along with all of her babies, to the foster saying they would be better off. Thank goodness for Verdi's foster family who is taking care of all these beautiful souls. Two of Beggin Strip's siblings have found homes already, but Beggin Strip and the remaining siblings are looking for their happy ever after. Beggin Strip, is a male puppy who was born on 1/29/2025, he currently weighs around 7 - 10 pounds. Mom Verdi is a black mouth cur mix who weighs 51 pounds and is fully grown. In terms of the father, people reported that a yellow lab had been wandering the neighborhood so some of the pups may be part lab. Others, like Beggin Strip look like they might have some shepherd mix as well as it's not unusual for a litter to have more than one father. According to his foster mom, Beggin Strip is a sweet, playful pup. He's the most vocal so far out of the litter. Beggin Strip will be brought up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption. He is currently located in Texas, but once adopted, will come to NJ on our next transport.
