Meet I LOVE LUCY

I Love Lucy is a beautiful 5 year old pure Aussie that was once used only as a breeding dog by a family looking to make a little money on the side.   They lived on a small farm and Lucy was mostly outside in the barn stalls and hanging out on the farm.  She is very good with chickens and other small farm animals and loves EVERYONE.  This girl is looking to be valued again in life.  She sometimes has a submissive peeing episode when unsure of the humans who are approaching her.   Yelling at her just makes the fear greater.   She is gentle, sweet, easy to be around and very affectionate with some hesitation when she is not sure you like her.   This girl needs a few months of confidence building. She would love to sit beside you on the sofa, sleep at the foot of your bed, curl up right next to you anywhere you are.  She has not one ounce of aggression in her soul.  She is usually housebroken but when scared or frightened she has been known to tinkle a bit.  She just hasn’t found the right human to so very unconditional and kind to her.  We promised her a better life and we are going to find it.  This girl is 40 pounds and on the smaller side.  She is good with cats, children, other dogs and of course all the barnyard creatures.  She wouldn’t hurt a fly.  If you are interested please write to us at [email protected] PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
