Meet RED JOE BORDER COLLIE
This handsome Red Merle Border Collie is called Red Joe. A handsome and petite guy that is strangely found himself lost and wondering up to a home in the countryside of Middle Tennessee. To say he is stunning is an understatement. He is a young boy that is about 1 year of age and weighing around 40 pounds. He is inside living a nice warm and cozy foster life with the senior couple who discovered him in their yard. After weeks of trying to see where he longed, they soon assumed that he was a lost little guy. Critter Cavalry Rescue is taking him underwing and helping to find the perfect home that understands the intelligence and activity needed to raise a Border Collie. Training is easy with such a bright and observant dog. He is ready to watch and learn with a good teacher. He is housebroken and pretty good on a leash for having not been training for long. He is going to be someone’s wonderful prize as a dog companion. A fenced yard is a must and we are looking for someone that is not gone 9 hours a day. But of course if needed to be gone continually perhaps a good Doggie Daycare could be used to keep him busy and socially in tune with other dogs. He is good with dogs now but needs to continually find group time with them during the week if he is the only dog. Read about the breed if you are not familiar. They are not couch potatoes although this boy is good with chilling after he has had some activity outside. Red Joe is soft and sweet and looking for the right owner who is spunky and active themselves! If you are interested, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected]. Do mention where you live: city and state. We transport from Nashville, TN up the northeastern coast. Out of state adoptions are welcomed. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]
Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
