Meet Onya

Meet Onya!  Onya is around 8 months old and 40 pounds and has a beautiful brindle coat. She is a super sweet girl who came from an overcrowded shelter and spent a good portion of her young life there. She is thriving in her foster home and is ready to find her forever family!   Onya is great with people, dogs, and cats. She is great on a leash and doesn’t even try to chase squirrels. She has learned so much in her short time with her foster family. She started out very shy she has gotten more and more comfortable in the house and experiencing new things.  She is such a sweet and gentle girl and it’s been great seeing her come out of her shell and show a playful side too. Onya is crate and housetrained.    Onya would love to have a canine play mate to really live her best life. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. Adoption Process
We require vet and reference checks and a home visit for all adoptions. Our adoption fee is $275 with an extra $50 deposit for unaltered puppies.
