Meet Nugget! Nugget is a playful, energetic, and affectionate 1-year-old terrier mix looking for an active forever home! Weighing in at 50 pounds, he has the scruffy charm of an oversized Border Terrier and the intelligence and drive typical of terriers. With his birthday just behind him (December 29th), Nugget is still very much a puppy at heart—full of enthusiasm, curiosity, and a love for adventure.This smart boy thrives in a home that can keep up with his energy and provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced yard is a must for Nugget, as he loves to run, play, and explore safely. He’s not the kind of dog who will be content with just one walk a day—he needs multiple outlets for his energy, whether it’s hiking, running, or engaging in fun training sessions. Nugget loves hiking and has great recall, making him a fantastic outdoor companion.Like most terriers, Nugget is incredibly intelligent and would excel with training. He’s eager to learn and would thrive with an adopter who enjoys teaching tricks, working on obedience, or even engaging in dog sports.
