Meet Lady

Lady is a 1-year-old purebred Labrador Retriever. She is friendly with everyone, including kids, cats, and other dogs. Lady loves to cuddle and will often try to sit in your lap or sleep next to you in bed. She is a true cuddle bug! Her previous owner is a single mom with three children. Due to a new job that requires her to travel frequently, she can no longer provide Lady with the exercise she needs. Lady was used to walking 4-5 miles a day, and being a typical Labrador Retriever, she is energetic and exuberant.  Lady adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with another dog that matches her size and high energy levels. She has completed two puppy manners classes and knows commands such as sit, stay, wait, and give her paw. While she performs these commands well indoors, she struggles with distractions outside and doesn’t always come when called—except when she sees a treat in your hand! For some unknown reason, Lady is a bit scared of cardboard boxes. If you can provide this amazing dog with the loving home she deserves, please consider applying!
