Meet Rocky! Rocky is an adorable, 1-year-old, 35 pound Carolina dog mix with a playful and loving personality. He’s a fun-loving guy who enjoys playtime, fetch, and a good game of tug-of-war. His sweet little prance and spunky nature will bring a smile to your face—he’s a bit like Scrappy-Doo in all the best ways!Dog & People Socialization: Rocky is very friendly and outgoing. He gets along wonderfully with his foster sibling and loves socializing with other dogs. He has not been tested with cats or children, but given his sweet nature, he would likely do well with proper introductions.Energy Level & Training: Rocky has typical young dog energy but is also well-mannered in the home. He does great in his crate, settling quickly and sleeping soundly through the night. He is eager to learn and already knows “sit” and “down”—he’s even working on “roll over”! He is an excellent fetch partner, always bringing the ball back and happily handing it over for another round. While he’s still learning not to jump or playfully mouth, he is smart, teachable, and responds well to consistent training. Rocky walks well on a leash, does not pull, and is easy to direct. He is also a fantastic car companion—curious, calm, and along for the ride without any whining or fuss. Rocky is fully house-trained and has had zero accidents in his foster home. He was a champ for his first bath, tolerated a blow-dry, and enjoys being brushed as a special treat.Ideal Home: Rocky would thrive in an active home with another playful dog or a family that enjoys engaging with him. He loves attention, companionship, and fun activities but also settles nicely when it’s time to relax. His perfect family will continue his training, give him plenty of love, and appreciate his fun-loving, affectionate personality. Rocky is sweet, smart, and full of personality!
