Meet Elton - Bravest Boy!

Elton came to us from the NYC shelter system after suffering from horrible abuse which left him burned. Elton was found abandoned in a stroller in a field in Queens in a very desolate area. He has burns over much of his body and face. In addition to burns, there are areas of hair loss which we are not sure are related. Elton is seeing our vet asap to continue his care and make sure we are doing everything we can for him. Elton was previously neutered. He is now vaccinated and microchipped too. We are hopeful once his burns and his skin heal that his fur will fill in - at least for the most part. His adoption fee will be $450 when he is ready for his furever home. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to wagoninn.rescuegroups.org. Click on the orange  Online Adoption Application  button to fill out an application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon!
