Meet OZZIE
Our handsome purebred Airedale boy is called Ozzie and this 50 pound, one year old boy is just the sweetest dog ever. This is a breeder castoff and we think that the man was mean to Ozzie and hit him on the head a lot. Ozzie is scared of men at first and cowers is anyone raises their hand in the air over his head. Pretty strong indication that he was abused while in his first year of life. We know that can be fixed with patience and love. You just want to scoop him up and hug him and tell him that everyone will be just fine in a very short time now that he is away from that terrible place. Ozzie loves other dogs and cats and of course he really likes human attention. The fear of men can disappear with a patient man carefully and gently winning his trust and continuing to keep that trust through positive reinforcement. We are looking for certain qualities in a home for Ozzie and here they are: fenced in yard to run and play in; Older kids would be fine; someone that doesn’t need to crate him 8-9 hours a day; Terrier experience with energy level and intelligence; active family that does things outside the home and will take Ozzie on their excursions. Ozzie doesn't have a mean bone in his body and he walks really well on a leash. One plus is that Ozzie adores car rides and he will ride forever with you on a trip. He appears to be housebroken and we are looking to get him a Home NOW! Starting June 12th! Write to us at [email protected] PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.
