AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!   Phyllis, AKA “Philly Philly,” is around one and a half years old and 46 lbs. Our best guess for her breed is a shepherd/husky/terrier mix, and wow, she is a beauty!   Looking for a dog that already has a toolbox of desirable skills and traits? Phyllis is your girl: ✅Walks great on leash ✅Crate trained ✅Housebroken ✅Takes treats nicely ✅Affectionate and playful ✅People and dog friendly   This gal is on the energetic side and so excited to finally be out of the shelter. Despite the heat, she is ready to go, go, go, and is so eager to learn how to be the bestest girl. We recommend that Phyllis goes to an active family committed to regular exercise and  continued training. She is very content to lay with her people and settles nicely once she’s soaked up some love and attention. A home with older children will likely be best.   Phyllis has BIG love to give and is sure to be a wonderful adventure partner. We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. Adoption Process
We require vet and reference checks and a home visit for all adoptions. Our adoption fee is $275 with an extra $50 deposit for unaltered puppies.
