Burlington County Animal Alliance

Burlington County Animal Alliance is a private, independent, 501(3)(c) nonprofit animal advocacy group, that was founded in 1999 by Lorraine Schrieber and Barb Giano who have a love for animals. To date, we have around 60 members of BCAA. We focus primarily on rescue and adoption of shelter dogs and cats in high kill shelters and surrounding areas in New Jersey. Our main focus is to make the public aware of the numbers of homeless dogs and cats there are in shelters and to promote adoption of these animals. We advocate spaying and neutering of all companion animals to counteract the overpopulation of dogs and cats and to end the tragedy of euthanizing healthy, unwanted companion pets.

Say hello to Danny – the stubby-legged dog of your dreams! At 3 years old and 22 pounds, Danny is the perfect mix of compact cuteness and big personality. Just one look at his short little legs and you’ll be in love—but it’s his amazing personality that will really win you over. Danny is always ready for fun. He loves to play, loves to run, and is happiest when he’s out exploring the world with his people (or canine friends!) by his side.Danny is what we like to call a certified socialite. He doesn’t just like people—he adores them. Every person he meets is his new best friend, and he greets the world with tail wags, happy hops, and a heart full of love. He also gets along well with other dogs but would be best matched playful pup to romp around with.He’s crate trained and does great on car rides—he’s the kind of dog who’s always ready to tag along for your next adventure, big or small. He walks well on a leash, though when he gets excited (which is pretty often, because life is awesome), he might pull a little—nothing a few treats and some positive reinforcement can’t fix.Despite being 3, Danny still has a bit of that goofy puppy energy. He zooms around with glee, plays like it’s his job, and then crashes hard for a snuggle session. He’s affectionate, joyful, and just the cutest boy ever—inside and out.Danny is looking for a family who loves to laugh, play, and shower him with affection.
