Meet BITSY and PONGO

BITSY and PONGO are very sweet and affectionate. They met on the day they were brought into the rescue and they haven't been separated since :-) We would love to keep them together, we won't separate them. They are both house broken and crate trained too. They eat together well and they sleep together. Bitsy is the brown one (small Dachshund mix, born Aug 1, 2023) and PONGO is the black Chihuahua mix born Jan 3, 2023. Their adoption fee includes their neutering, vaccines, deworming and microchip. * You must live in our adoptable area (Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, White Rock, Los Alamos areas of New Mexico) and* Please, no children under the age of ten If you are searching elsewhere for a dog/shopping please let us know this. We look forward to meeting you and your fur babies and bringing a new member to your family! Desert Paws Inc Animal Rescue of New Mexico has been rescuing animals since 2009. We are a non-profit 501c3 organization. Our primary work is on three pueblo Indian reservations in rural New Mexico. We do emergency veterinary services, spay/neuter, preventive vaccines, flea/tick, deworming for both the animals that are neglected and abandoned and need forever families as well as for the animals of tribal members.
